Polypropylene Cartridge Filter Housings
Cartridge filter vessels manufactured in polypropylene are used primarily for removing particulate matter from cold water supplies. The filter housing may be fitted with a wide range of filter cartridges which includes both disposable and reusable types. Disposable filter cartridges always offer the finest grade of filtration and with modern membrane technology we are able to offer filtration as fine as 0.04 microns. (four hundred thousandth of a millimeter).
If you choose a reusable filter cartridge then we can also offer filter housings that will provide a level of backwashing which means not having to remove the cartridge for cleaning.
This filter vessel range will accommodate pipeline sizes from 1/4″ up to 1 1/2″ and flow rates up to 6000 litres per hour. The standard temperature limit for polypropylene filter housings is 50 deg C. If you need to filter hot water then we have a range of Hot Water Filters that will allow you to filter up to 93 deg C.
